T’Was the Last Energy Report Before Christmas. The Energy Report 12/23/2025
T’was the last Energy Report before Christmas, with drama at sea. The US seized oil tankers and some tried to flee.
It’s Venezuelan oil caught in this snare so we can stop the drug flow that’s coming from there.
The news helped oil to get out of the red as visions of oil gluts danced in some heads.
And we saw the shorts purchase, and the price start to gap as the market came out from its long winters nap.
But soon the Democrats started to chatter. It was not drugs, but politics that mattered.
Miltary leaders started to trash, I guess so drug dealers could keep getting their cash.
Maduro unelected still refuses to go. But that might change if he can’t get his dough.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, Gas prices have fallen to the lowest in years.
President Trump promised they would fall this quick as drill baby drill has done its trick. More rapid than eagles the drillers they came, getting permit approvals and I’ll call them by name
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
Now, EXXON! now, CHEVRON! now, CONOCO and SHELL!
On, BP! on, TOTAL! on, OCCIDENTAL and VALERO!
To the top of the rig! to the top of the well!
Now drill away! drill away! drill away all!
As black gold that before the wild gusher does fly, when they strike an obstacle, flames to the sky.
And because of that, our exports flew ,setting records for oil and natural gas too. And oil production has gone through the roof and reduced our trade deficit as continuing proof.
President Trump said he would turn things around and not waste time on green projects that weren’t very sound.
And with our foes he put down his foot if attack ours wonders you’ll turn you into ashes and soot , To the American Soldiers , Trump Has your back, so our enemies had better be afraid to attack.
And at the same time, he’s making the country merrier with tax cuts and rebates that should make tax time less scary. No taxes on tips should makes your heart glow, a gift to the hard workers with a neat little bow. And whilst the naysayers still grit their teeth well have more money for our children to bequeath.
Besides High gasoline prices are like a punch in the belly and when prices fall it’s like getting free jelly.
Trump was brash and bold, a right fiery old chief, and troops cheered when they saw him, with utter relief, A wink of his eye and a flash of his grin, let the word know the US would be winning again.
He allowed US energy to get back to work to his work and not try to sue them like some other jerk . To the rest of his critics, he just thumbs up his nose as the US economy continues to grow. He just gives them a whistle, and then fake news a dismissal . And you hear him exclaim as he goes out of sight Make America Great and to all a good night
Our soldiers are fighting in lands far away and we must remember to pray for them each passing day it is for freedom that they put up this incredible fight and so to them and to all of you Merry Christmas and goodnight.
Thanks,
Phil Flynn
