We jumpstart this cold January day with Export Inspections at 10:00 A.M., Cotton system, Fats & Oils and Grain Crushing at 2:00 P.M. There was no overnight electronic session for Grains and we will start 2018 at 9:30 A.M. On the Ethanol front there was no action in the overnight electronic session. The February contract settled at 1.354 and is currently showing 1 bid @ 1.337 and 1 offer @ 1.349 with Open Interest at 1,646 contracts.
On the Crude Oil front the market is bouncing back and forth in the overnight electronic session with the February contract currently trading at 6035 which is 7 tics lower. The trading range has been 6074 to 6013.
On the Natural Gas front global warming is contributing to this rally. In the overnight electronic session the February contract is currently trading at 3.003 which is 5 cents higher. The trading range has been 3.097 to 2.923 in light volume.
